Minutes after it was announced that Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Chris Martin are separating, Gwyneth’s GOOP website crashed after hordes of Internet users flocked to the site to see and verify the couple’s announcement.

Paltrow made the announcement of her separation with the Coldplay frontman through her super-smug food blogging site. Fans trying to access the lifestyle website on Tuesday, March 25, through their browsers received a standard “This page can’t be displayed” message.
Paltrow and Martin posted a statement on the website announcing they decided to separate after more than 10 years of marriage.
According to the site description, “Goop is a weekly publication delivered straight to your inbox offering exclusive limited edition collaborations, recipes, travel notes, shopping ideas and wellness tips for you, your wardrobe and your home.”
“It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate,” read the joint statement of Paltrow and Martin posted March 25.
“We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate.”
